Terms of Use
This is the agreement between you and NorthPixel Studio for the HerAngles iOS app. It's short on purpose. By downloading or using the app, you agree to it — if you don't, please don't use it.
Read this part if nothing else. HerAngles is a subscription app that teaches posing. It does not edit your photos, does not look at your camera roll, and makes no promise about how you will look in a photograph. A subscription is required to use it, and it renews automatically until you cancel with Apple.
1. Who can use it
HerAngles is intended for adults. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a subscription. By using the app you confirm you meet that bar and that you're not barred from using it under applicable law.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, rent, or redistribute the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant you here.
3. Your account
The app uses Sign in with Apple as its only sign-in method. You are responsible for keeping your Apple Account secure, and for what happens under your account. If you think your account has been used without your permission, tell us at hello@northpixel.studio. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account; see our privacy policy for what that removes.
4. Subscriptions and billing
HerAngles is subscription-only. There is no free tier, no free trial and no guest mode — a subscription is required to use the app.
- Plans. The app is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly, monthly, or yearly. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. Any one of the three plans unlocks the whole app.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. All payment is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Trials and offers. There is no free trial at launch. If an introductory offer is ever made available, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription, and offers may be limited to new subscribers and to one per Apple Account.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policy and requested at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we'll help where we can.
- Restoring. "Restore Purchases" is on the subscription screen if you get a new device or reinstall.
- Price changes. If we change the price, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to consent before the next renewal.
5. What the app does and doesn't promise
HerAngles gives you posing instructions — physical cues to follow while someone takes a photograph. It is guidance, not a guarantee. We make no claim about how you will look in a photo, how anyone will respond to it, or what any pose will do for you. The app does not edit, retouch, filter or score photographs, and it contains nothing that judges one body against another.
Poses are physical positions. Use common sense: don't attempt one that hurts, don't attempt one somewhere unsafe, and take your surroundings into account — particularly for travel and outdoor poses. You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of anyone photographing you.
6. Your photos
The app never requests camera or photo library access and never receives your photographs. Any photo you take while using HerAngles is entirely yours; we have no copy of it, no licence to it, and no way to reach it.
7. Our content
The poses, their instructions, categories, tags, and the app's design and text are ours or licensed to us. Use them for your own photographs as much as you like. Don't republish, redistribute, or resell the pose library or any substantial part of it, and don't scrape or extract it in bulk.
8. Fair use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or in breach of anyone else's rights
- Interfere with, overload, or probe our systems, or try to get around the paywall
- Use automated means to access the service, or extract data from it in bulk
- Share, resell, or sublicense your access to someone else
9. Your data
Your saved poses and onboarding answers are yours. You grant us only the licence we need to store them, sync them, and show them back to you — nothing broader. How we handle them is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to the app
We may add, change, or remove poses and features, and we may stop offering HerAngles altogether. If we discontinue the app, we'll give reasonable notice and stop billing. We may also update these terms; if a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept it.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the app at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if we're required to by law — and where it's practical and lawful, we'll tell you why first.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HerAngles is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any pose, widget, or reminder will suit you or be delivered on time. Nothing here excludes any warranty or right that can't be excluded under the law where you live — in particular, consumer rights that apply to you regardless of what an agreement says.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NorthPixel Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify NorthPixel Studio against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the app or your breach of these terms.
15. Apple
- This agreement is between you and NorthPixel Studio only, not with Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for HerAngles or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you're a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
17. Odds and ends
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about HerAngles.
